This iPad band member from Bohunt School was so inspired by her experience, that she decided to create an iPadBand of her own at the school’s STEM festival.

Teaching younger students from a visiting primary, she worked with the children to create their student #ipadband

The video was filmed by a parent on the day using a smart phone.

This is a great example of the impact an iPad band can have. Not only does it provide non-musicians with an opportunity to work with their peers on a performance piece, and enable them to perform alongside their peers, but it also inspires them to engage with music to create something of their own.

The girl in this video has taken what she has learned through her experience of being in an iPad band and uses the skills gained to impart her knowledge to other learners. A fantastic example of a digital leader for music.

Working directly with your students, we can create an iPad band to engage and inspire. This is also a great opportunity to engage with parents and governors (as this particular school did), and to showcase the impact digital technology can have when used effectively.
